Nachhaltigkeit / Unabhängigkeit
Durch die AGPL Lizenzierung ist die rechtliche Verpflichtung gegeben, dass alle Änderungen am KES wiederum der original KES Version zur Verfügung gestellt werden müssen. Die Aufgabe des IP-Holders ist es, zu entscheiden, ob diese Erweiterungen in den Kern übernommen werden (Steuerung der Entwicklung des Produktes / des Umfang des Produktes)
Weiters ist es durch die AGPL Lizenzierung jedermann:frau jederzeit möglich, den Quellcode herunter zu ziehen. Das bedeutet, selbst falls es die KEG irgendwann nicht mehr geben sollte, kann ein:e fähige:r ERP-Programmierer :in an diesem Stand des Quellcodes weiterarbeiten. Es ist damit die größtmögliche Unabhängigkeit von anderen Unternehmen gegeben.
Kostenrahmen für eine Umstellung auf ein anderes ERP System
Wenn Ihr Unternehmen mit z.B. 50 Mitarbeiter:innen vom bisherigen ERP System auf ein völlig anderes System umstellt, ist für Auswahl, Schulung, Einführung, Anpassung, Lizenzen mit einem Kostenrahmen von ca. 350.000,- € zu rechnen.
Dazu kommt, dass bei entsprechendem Wachstum Ihres Unternehmens mit zusätzlichen Lizenzen (Benutzer, Funktionen, Mandanten) zu rechnen ist. Diese müssen bei proprietären Systemen dazugekauft werden. Im KES können diese Funktionen, soweit vorhanden, kostenfrei dazugeschaltet werden. Neue Funktionen können jederzeit erstellt werden. Ob diese dann von einem einzelnen Mitglied bezahlt werden oder einer Gruppe oder von der Gesamtheit der KEG Mitglieder wird von Vorstand / Aufsichtsrat / Generalversammlung entschieden.
Kostenvorteil für Kieselstein ist auch, dass keine Basisschulung für ein neues System erforderlich ist, somit auch die Abläufe usw. alle Allen in Ihrem Unternehmen beteiligten Anwendern, die bisher HELIUM V genutzt haben, so wie bisher vertraut sind.
Für die Mitglieder der KEG werden regelmäßig Schulungen zu aktuellen Themen rund um das KES abgehalten. Diese werden von erfahrenen Consultants geleitet, können aber gerne auch, insbesondere in Detailbereichen, von erfahrenen Anwendern vorgetragen werden. Wir sehen hier den besonderen Vorteil von aus der Praxis für die Praxis. So ergeben sich auch immer wieder Branchenübergreifende Impulse für neue praktische Lösungsansätze die mit keinem oder wenig Aufwand realisiert werden können.
So wird auch eine Sammlung von Reportvarianten unter allen Mitgliedern gepflegt um dieses besondere, oft branchenspezifische, KnowHow, im Sinne der positiven Weiterentwicklung aller KEG Mitglieder, also im Sinne der gegenseitigen Unterstützung, zu fördern.
Der besondere Vorteil der KEG Mitgliedschaft ist der Eintritt in eine Gemeinschaft von gleichgesinnten Unternehmern, die mit dem bisher eingesetzten und wohlbekannten ERP System, den Erfolg ihrer Unternehmen weiterhin sicherstellen und fördern wollen.
Dass sich damit langfristig eine eventuelle Kostenersparnis ergeben könnte, ist nicht im Fokus der Mitgliedschaft, sondern der Vorteil des
